Our 2022-2023 Church Year Calendar, It Is Well with My Soul, draws upon the Church’s songs and hymns to highlight each season of the Church Year. Each liturgical season focuses on a great anthem of the Church’s worship and ministry. Historically, the Church has sought to live out the true Story of God in Scripture, which details God’s saving work in history, through its worship and witness. This year we focus on these great hymns and spiritual songs, providing both historical and biblical insight into why the Church has embraced this song, and how it has contributed to the Church’s vision in its theology, worship, discipleship, and witness. Each seasonal image highlights a great song which has given wings to the Church’s faith and discipleship to God through Christ.
This 2022-23 calendar outlines the traditional feast days and celebrations of the liturgical year, from Advent to the Reign of Christ the King, along with the weekly texts of the Revised Common Lectionary Year A.
