Additional resources, including audio files, are available for World Impact Partners in the Dashboard portion of WIU

Revised, two new sessions added: one on Culture [The Difference that Difference Makes: Contextualizing the Story of God is Postmodern Society], and one on the Kingdom [Your Kingdom Come: Living Under the Reign of God in an Unchurched World]. The life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ represent the core–the roots–of authentic Christian theology and worship. Similarly, the taproots of the Church are found in the primary truths of Christian faith in the biblical writings of the apostles, articulated by the Fathers, and expressed in the teaching and practice of the ancient Church. These roots are sacred; in them we come to know God’s story of love in Christ and by faith make that story (his-story) our own. This workshop will outline the ways in which churches can renew its spirituality and mission by inhabiting the Story of God in Scripture expressed in the Great Tradition. Special focus will highlight the promise of this rediscover for the contemporary urban church’s worship, discipleship, and mission. Course Media includes eight PowerPoint Presentations with a total of over 700 graphically rich slides and eight audio files of lessons taught by Dr Davis.
